Weather in the mountains
A high-pressure system will persist over the Alps, bringing warm air masses of subtropical origin.
Brilliant sunshine will prevail for most of the day. During the afternoon, only a few small cumulus clouds will develop over the mountain peaks.
Mountain weather tomorrow
The Alps will be affected by masses of warm and unstable air masses.
From the early hours of the morning, clouds will dominate, bringing showers and thunderstorms. Later on, the weather will be sunny at times. However, the unstable atmospheric conditions will encourage the development of localised heat-related thunderstorms.
